Another cast
Well I guess the last bandage frayed so my sister re-wrapped her arm. She asked if I'd cover some of the blood stains with a few more drawings. So a super quick kite monster and some letters. I've been doing a lot of lettering lately, but can't post it yet...

OMG! a post!
I'm alive, and have been drawing, but haven't posted anything since... June?! Holy Cow! Well here's something I just did for my sister - fresh out of surgery I tagged her soft cast around her wrist. She just told me to "draw random shit" - so I did. Sharpie and paint pen on Ace bandage.
Soon to come: more pics and scans of some stuff I've been working on...

Last of June
I had some business cards printed for the HOW Design Conference I just attended last week in Austin, Texas. Just a quick contact card with my name, email and phone number (it's my personal contact info, so i blurred it out for privacy's sake). For the card I scanned in a screenprint I had made of the snail tree on wood, painted it in photoshop and multiplied the layer for the washed look. Wrong font choice, but for being a rush job it was better than nothing, and I was glad to have a card to network with in Austin.
Tried to get one last post up in June, I will work harder in July to keep 'em coming more frequently.

Critter Jamboree
These are my critters from my latest screenprinting run: Fly or Die Flying Squirrel, Honey Bear, and Inch by InchWorm. I squeegeed them on shirts, fabric swatches for pillows and tote bags, paper, birch panels and some pressboard panels, too. I'll try and get some pics of those up soon. These are the scans of the drawings, cleaned up and darkened so they would burn cleanly on the vellum. The bear lost his foot in clean up, but it was drawn in on the vellum before it was burned onto the screen.

bee.fam
I made this logo for my friend Bryant, aka DJ bee.fam . It was made into a decal for his laptop, and then I burnt it onto a screen and threw it on some shirts, fabric swatches, and even some boxer briefs for the dj himself. Here's the original drawing, the decal that was made, and a comp for the placement of the bee on the shirt (don't have any pics of the actual shirts or trunks).
